How far is La Llosa del Cavall from Barcelona? ▾
La Llosa del Cavall is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes from Barcelona via the C-16 motorway towards Berga and then the C-462 road. It's a perfect day trip from Barcelona — drive up, spend the day kayaking and head back in the evening.
Do I need experience to kayak here? ▾
No experience needed. We provide basic paddling instructions before you head out. The reservoir has calm, currentless water — ideal for first-timers, families and children.
Can I bring my dog? ▾
Absolutely! We provide dog life jackets for all sizes, included in the rental price at no extra cost. The calm waters of the reservoir make it perfect for cani-kayak with your four-legged friend.
Is kayaking suitable for young children? ▾
Yes, we specialise in family tourism. We have family kayaks for up to 4 people (2 adults + 2 children up to approx. 8 years old) and specific children's equipment (life jackets and paddles). Children don't need to paddle — they sit comfortably while adults row.
Do I need to book in advance? ▾
From June to August you can walk in without a reservation. However, we recommend booking via WhatsApp on busy weekends to guarantee availability. During Easter and September, advance booking is required.
What's included in the rental price? ▾
The price includes the kayak for the agreed time, paddle(s), life jacket(s), dry bag, basic paddling instructions and accident insurance. Dog life jackets are also included at no extra charge.
