How much does the family kayak cost?

The family kayak costs €35 for 1 hour, €50 for 2 hours, €70 for a half day (3–4 hours) and €85 for a full day (4+ hours). All equipment is included.

What is the maximum age for children in the family kayak?

The family kayak fits 2 adults and up to 2 children of roughly 8 years old or under (seated in the central positions). Older children who want to paddle independently are better suited to a single or double kayak.

Is the family kayak safe for young children?

Yes. The reservoir has calm water with no currents or waves. Children's life jackets are included for all ages. The family kayak is wide and very stable — it won't tip. It's one of the safest water activities for families.

Can we bring a dog in the family kayak?

Yes, a dog life jacket is also included. The family kayak has plenty of space for two adults, children and a dog — it's our most spacious craft.

Do the children need to know how to swim?

It is not required. The certified life jacket ensures buoyancy and the reservoir has shallow, calm water near the rental point. That said, basic swimming ability is always helpful for water activities.

The family kayak is our largest and most stable craft. It fits 2 adults paddling from the front and rear positions, with up to 2 young children (or a dog) seated safely in the wide central cockpit. No previous kayaking experience is needed — the calm, currentless waters of La Llosa del Cavall do the rest.

June to August you can generally arrive without a reservation, but we recommend booking via WhatsApp on busy weekends to guarantee your kayak. During Easter and September advance booking is required.

What children's life jacket sizes do you have? ▾

We carry certified life jackets for toddlers, small children and older children, as well as adult sizes. Just let us know the approximate ages and weights of your children when you book and we'll have the right sizes ready.
