How long does it take to paddle across the reservoir?

The reservoir is about 11 km long. At a relaxed pace, reaching the dam and returning takes 3–4 hours. For a first experience or a leisurely paddle, 1–2 hours is more than enough to explore the most scenic spots near the rental point.

Can I kayak if I'm not a strong swimmer?

Yes. A certified life jacket is included in the price and is mandatory. The reservoir has calm water with no currents and the banks are always close. It's one of the safest water activities you can do.

Can I bring my dog in a single kayak? ▾

The single kayak is quite narrow for one person plus a larger dog. For cani-kayak we recommend the double kayak, which has much more space and stability. Dog life jackets are included in the rental price.

Can I fish from a single kayak? ▾

Yes! La Llosa del Cavall allows recreational fishing with the appropriate licence. The single kayak is an excellent platform for reaching fishing spots inaccessible from the bank. Don't forget your fishing permit.
